Jessica Moore was murdered by the Yellow-Eyed Demon in a reenactment of Mary Winchester’s death, forcing her boyfriend, Sam Winchester, to abandon his civilian life for a supernatural crusade. This calculated act, echoing a tragedy from 22 years prior, served as the catalyst for Sam to join his brother Dean in hunting creatures, marking the beginning of a fifteen-year journey.
