Gwen (2018)

A teenage girl struggles to keep her family together in a remote, rural village as her mother falls ill and her father remains absent. Their farm is failing, and the nearby quarry company is pressuring them to sell their land. Strange occurrences begin to surround their home-dead animals, unfriendly neighbors, and unexplained sounds-making life even harder. As tension builds, Gwen tries to protect her younger sister and hold onto what little stability they have left. The isolation, harsh environment, and rising fear make it hard to tell if whats happening is supernatural or just the cruelty of people. It's a slow, grim build that blends folk horror with bleak historical drama.
