Red Dragon (2002)

Former FBI profiler Will Graham is reluctantly pulled back into service after a brutal string of family murders shakes investigators. Though Graham is skilled at understanding the minds of killers, the case forces him to seek help from the one man he never wanted to face again: Hannibal Lecter, the brilliant but monstrous figure who nearly ended his life years earlier. Locked away yet still dangerous, Lecter agrees to offer insights into the new murderer, a twisted figure nicknamed the Tooth Fairy, whose crimes grow bolder with each passing month. As Graham pushes himself to anticipate the killers moves, he risks being consumed by the very darkness he studies, while Lecter uses their uneasy alliance to play his own psychological games. The tension builds as Graham races to protect the next potential victims, all while knowing that Lecters influence could be just as deadly as the killer hes hunting.
