Wrong Turn (2021)

A group of friends heads out for a hiking trip on a stretch of the Appalachian Trail, looking for a break from everyday life. They get warned by locals to stick to the marked paths, but they ignore the advice and wander off into the woods. Before long, they realize something's wrong when they stumble into hidden traps and start to feel like they're being watched. As they try to find their way back, the group is attacked and separated by a secretive, self-sufficient community that lives deep in the forest, cut off from the rest of the world. This group, known as The Foundation, has its own harsh rules and isn't interested in letting outsiders leave. The hikers have to figure out who they can trust, how to survive the deadly threats around them, and what lines they're willing to cross to make it out alive. The story cranks up the tension and never lets the group feel safe, making every decision matter as the woods close in and the true danger reveals itself.
