The Black Demon (2023)

A family heads to a remote oil rig off the coast of Mexico, where the father, an inspector, is sent to check on a supposedly routine assignment. When they arrive, things feel off. The rig looks abandoned, the workers are gone or acting strange, and somethings clearly wrong with the platform itself. Its not long before they realize theyre stranded, and worse, something massive is lurking in the water below. A giant megalodon, known locally as the Black Demon, begins to circle the rig. With no easy way out and time running out, the family has to figure out whats going on with the rig, why the shark is targeting it, and how to survive long enough to escape. Tension builds as the attacks become more aggressive and their options shrink. What starts as a corporate safety check quickly turns into a fight to make it out alive.
