Slotherhouse (2023)

A college senior hoping to boost her popularity adopts a pet sloth as the new mascot for her sorority house, thinking itll be a cute and harmless way to stand out. Things take a bizarre and deadly turn when the sloth, which seemed slow and innocent, starts picking off the sorority sisters one by one in increasingly weird and unexpected ways. Suspicion and paranoia take over as the remaining girls try to figure out whats happening, but their plans keep going sideways as the sloth proves to be surprisingly crafty and vicious. The story balances dark humor and horror, leaning into the absurdity of being stalked by an animal known for moving at a snails pace. Its a mix of classic slasher tension, wild kills, and tongue-in-cheek jokes, all set inside the chaos of college life.
