Lisa Frankenstein (2024)

Set in 1989, Lisa Frankenstein follows Lisa Swallows, a goth teenager still grieving her mothers murder and feeling out of place in her blended family. After a lightning strike hits the grave of a Victorian-era pianist she often visits, the corpse reanimates and enters her life. Lisa hides him, naming him "The Creature," and begins helping him regain his missing body parts by harvesting them from people whove wronged her. As they bond over their shared outsider status, their relationship deepens, leading to a series of darkly comedic and violent events. The story culminates in a fiery climax involving a tanning bed, and a final scene that suggests their connection transcends even death.
