Castle Freak (1996)

When John Reilly inherits an ancient castle in rural Italy, he sees it as a chance for his troubled family to start over. Hoping the change of scenery will help repair their strained relationships, he moves in with his wife and daughter, only to find the old stone halls hold more than dust and memories. Strange noises echo through the corridors, and locked doors seem to move between rooms. As the nights grow longer, the family realizes something else is living inside the castle-something that watches, waits, and hungers.
