Bird Box (2018)

After a wave of mass suicides spreads worldwide, a woman fights to survive in a world where mysterious entities drive people to kill themselves if they see them. Flashing between past and present, the story follows her and two young children navigating a dangerous river blindfolded, trying to reach a possible safe zone. In the earlier timeline, we see her holed up with a group of strangers as society collapses, each person dealing with the invisible threat in their own way. Paranoia grows, trust breaks down, and the few survivors realize they have to rely on sound and instinct instead of sight. The film builds tension through silence and fear of the unknown, focusing more on survival and motherhood than action.
