Dropbear follows a group of friends who head into the Australian bush for a weekend camping trip, hoping for quiet and a break from everyday stress. Early on, the trip feels easygoing, but local warnings about strange animal attacks hang in the air. The mood shifts once night falls and something begins moving through the trees around their camp. At first it is distant sounds and missing supplies, but it quickly becomes clear they are being watched.[br]Tension rises as the group argues over what is stalking them. Some think it is a wild predator. Others suspect something far worse. The attacks come suddenly and from above, leaving them shaken and injured. When they try to leave, they find their escape cut off and communication gone, forcing them to face the reality of their isolation.[br]Fear starts to fracture their trust in each other. Sleep becomes impossible and every sound feels like a threat. As the creature grows bolder, the friends are pushed into a desperate fight for survival against something that knows the forest far better than they do.

In the fight scene between Bazza and the Koala King, there’s a moment when the Koala King has its back to the camera, and you can totally see that the back of the suit Yoz Mensch is wearing is unzipped - which kind of ruins the whole illusion.

At the final fight scene with Ollie, Emily, and the Koala King, Emily turns on the chainsaw-you can hear it buzzing, but the chain never actually moves at any point.
