Get Away (2024)

The Smith family is looking for a quiet vacation, so Richard, Susan, and their teenage kids Sam and Jessie travel to a remote Swedish island called Svalta. Their trip happens to line up with the islands Karantn festival, a local tradition tied to a dark part of the villages past. Right away, the locals seem hostile, making it clear that outsiders arent welcome during the celebration. The family tries to enjoy the trip anyway, but the mood turns tense fast. Strange sounds, unsettling symbols, and cryptic warnings suggest that something more dangerous is going on. As the truth behind the festival starts to surface, the Smiths realize they may not be able to leave. What was supposed to be a peaceful getaway quickly turns into a fight for survival.
