A shy Chinese student with a facial birthmark, moves to New Zealand for university and stays with her cousin Angela, who is embarrassed by Weis appearance and cultural background. At school, Wei faces bullying from Angela and her friends, pushing her to continue her late fathers skin grafting research. Using a rare corpse flower, she perfects a serum that allows her to replace her own face with others. As she assumes new identities, Weis actions spiral into a series of violent events, leading to a grotesque transformation that blurs the line between her quest for acceptance and the horror she becomes. ?
