A Breed Apart (2025)

A Breed Apart follows a rural veterinarian who's called to a secluded farming community after livestock start showing signs of a strange illness. At first, it looks like a rare infection, but the animals aren't just sick-they're changing. When the vet presses the farmers for answers, she's met with stonewalling and cryptic warnings. Things escalate when a nearby hiker disappears and strange tracks are found in the woods. As she investigates, it becomes clear the community is hiding something inbred into the land itself-something theyve been dealing with for generations. The deeper she gets, the more she realizes this isn't just about animals. Whatever's out there might be crossing the line between human and not, and the town may have made peace with it long ago. Getting out with the truth, or even alive, may not be in the cards.
