Tremors (1990)

A small desert town is suddenly shaken - literally - when strange underground creatures start killing off the locals one by one. At first, no one knows whats going on, but two handymen stumble across signs that something massive is moving beneath the ground. As the body count rises, they and a handful of survivors realize theyre dealing with giant worm-like predators that sense movement and burst from the dirt to attack. With no way to call for help and the creatures getting smarter, the group is forced to think fast and get creative if they want to stay alive. Its a mix of suspense, comedy, and creature-feature chaos, all set in an isolated place where escape isnt an easy option.
