Tremors 2 Aftershocks shifts the action to Mexico, where oil fields are being terrorized by the return of the underground predators known as Graboids. Earl Bassett, still living in the shadow of his past encounter with the creatures, is recruited to help eliminate the new outbreak, lured by both money and the promise of redemption. He teams up with Grady, an eager but inexperienced partner, and they begin hunting the beasts using improvised tactics and heavy firepower. What starts as a straightforward extermination job quickly escalates when the Graboids begin to evolve into a deadlier new form, forcing the men to rethink everything they thought they knew about the creatures.
