Megan returns to her childhood home to help care for her terminally ill father, Robert, and quickly finds herself at odds with her mother, Barbara. Their relationship is strained, with years of unresolved tension bubbling beneath the surface. After Roberts death, Barbara becomes consumed by grief and enlists a mysterious figure to perform a resurrection ritual, convinced she can bring her husband back. Megan, skeptical and disturbed by her mothers actions, is drawn into the ritual despite her reservations.
