Dream Eater (2025)

A documentary filmmaker named Mallory takes her boyfriend Alex to a remote, snow-covered cabin in the mountains hoping to record and help him deal with his violent sleepwalking episodes. As night after night passes, Alexs parasomnia grows more extreme and unhinged - and Mallory starts to suspect that the cause isnt medical but something deeply sinister tied to his past. As she digs into old records and strange folklore, she slowly uncovers hints of trauma, occult history and an ancient evil lurking beneath Alexs nightmares. The film shifts from a personal study in mental breakdown into a creeping horror about forces beyond human understanding, with paranoia, failing trust, and dark secrets twisting their relationship - and the cabin - into a trap they may never escape.
