The Elixir (2025)

In a remote village on the island of Java, a wealthy family runs a traditional herbal medicine business. The patriarch, driven by ambition, launches a new miracle youth elixir, believing it will modernize the family business-and secure their legacy. But the elixir has horrifying side-effects it triggers a rapid zombie outbreak that sweeps through the village, disrupting everyday life and turning trusted neighbours into enemies. The family, already fractured by internal tensions and secrets, find themselves forced to band together in order to survive. They must navigate collapsing infrastructure, rising panic, and a worsening infection, while also trying to confront their personal demons-old resentments, rivalries, and guilt. As the undead threat grows, the characters must make hard choices about loyalty, sacrifice and who really matters in the end. The film escalates into a fight for survival on multiple fronts human vs zombie, family vs self, community vs collapse.
