Gemma heads to Los Angeles determined to break into acting, but like many others chasing the same dream, she struggles to find her footing. To pay her bills, she lands an unusual overnight job at a sleep clinic that markets itself as a place where clients dreams can be shaped and perfected. At first, the work seems simple enough, keeping watch over people as they drift into sleep while advanced technology supposedly guides them into the experiences they desire. But as the nights drag on, Gemma begins noticing strange patterns in the patients behavior and unsettling gaps in her own memory. What starts as subtle oddities soon grows into disturbing episodes that blur the line between dreams and reality.
